A live, on-screen creature is assembled from misfiled anatomy, stamped with a designation, and observed until you replace/end it.

1) Press START to open the dossier.
2) Use create new monster to replace the current specimen.
3) Confirm the kill; the name is added to Extinct Monsters and will never return.
4) Resize the window—panels reflow for small screens.
